Google Docs is one of many Google tools that help share and collaborate information and it saves trees! Besides documents, google has spreadsheets, presentations, forms and recently added drawing.

Google Docs for Educators

Google forms are useful as a survey tool. You can post the form on your teacher page. The results become part of a a fully functional excel spreadsheet in your google docs.

If using with students, you may want to have a separate, required field for first name and last name, so you are able to sort the results.

ASSIGNMENT:

Take some time to find Internet resources that your students would find useful. Gather them in a Google Custom search engine, or Create a List in Diigo. Post the URL to our discussion group with an explanation of your purpose in creating it.
